Office Mobile Apps on Windows 10 Mobile to End

Microsoft plans to end support for Windows 10 Mobile applications on January 12th 2021 according to announcement Microsoft made this month.

On that date, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneNote applications for the Windows 10 Mobile operating system will no longer get patches from Microsoft, including security fixes. This will increase the risk of using this mobile platform and these apps as security issues are found and are left unpatched.

Businesses are advised to start planning to move away from Windows 10 mobile to ensure their mobile systems remain secure and fit for purpose.
